I started this project after finding a local puppy yoga company located in Cincinnati, OH. After looking into their social media pages, I realized I could give their brand a revamp. I wanted the brand to become fun and exciting instead of being basic and unappealing to their consumers.

The business is called Puppy Yoga, but I think they could change the name to stand out and spark interest when it comes up. The name "The Barking Lotus" combines puppies and a yoga pose. I feel like it is a great play on words that is different than other yoga studios.
For the font choice, I wanted to have two different fonts to separate the hierarchy. After attempting many different versions, I settled on The Seasons - Light and Montserrat - Light.

For the logo, I wanted it to be eye-catching and aesthetically pleasing. I came up with three iterations that met those criteria but ultimately chose the last version. The last logo has dimension and doesn't feel as flat as the other two. It also has better contrast between the dog and the flower, which helped me choose a final version.
