Overview
The assignment was to create a visually designed booklet that introduces your selected designer and their work. The goal is to communicate who the designer is through their style. The booklet needed to use layout, typography, and graphic elements to reflect themes or qualities inspired by the designer’s work while remaining an original design.
The designer I chose was Milton Glaser. Upon the research I conducted, I felt very inspired by him and his methods. I wrote an eight-page essay on who he was and his impact on the design community. Afterwards, I began to pull inspiration from his own work to create my booklet.
Inspiration
After researching Glaser's style, I combined it with my own to create a booklet. Not only did I want to appreciate his impact on the design community, but I also wanted to create something that he would enjoy.
